Coleus by Terry White
Variegated threads and embellishment fibers are the focus in this class. The larger version of the coleus hung in the AQS Nashville show in 2006 as well as several other shows. Terry shares examples of these techniques in a variety of work which she brings to class. Threads used are Valdandi 35 weight variegated cotton threads. If you have similar cotton threads to substitute, that is fine. I will describe the dominant color in the variegates.
